The Serum Synopsis
John D. Rockefeller (JD) and Andrew Carnegie (Andy) have kept their friendship from prying eyes for years. Then In 1911 the richest man in the world and the second richest man in the world agree to embark on a historic journey to change to course of humanity. Through the discovery of ancient Egyptian scrolls, there appears a startling revelation written by the scribes and hidden in the hieroglyphs. Nearly two thousand years later, these hieroglyphs were translated into Latin by Roman scholars as ‘Et Reversus est ad Mortem deos’ or ‘To Die and Come Back as gods’. The discovery of the scrolls and the exciting prospects they promise, sets JD and Andy on a mission to find the secret to extending human lifespan 50, 100 and possibly for eternity.
Another two thousand years pass and Peter Cordell, a best-selling author, gets a mysterious call from a woman named Mrs. Evelyn Rule. She has a commission for Peter to write a historical account of the efforts to find the secrets to eternal life. It all takes place at a special facility built and maintained at the remotest location on Planet Earth…Point Nemo. Peter is paid the enormous sum of $5,000,000, for the project and he must travel to Point Nemo Island by way of submarine owned and operated by a secret entity. On his journey Peter meets a number of various characters that bring the tale to life including a beautiful doctor, Jennifer Carlino.
Over the years, the facility at Point Nemo has been run by various Boards who helped to fund the research and experimentation and to grow the staff of renown scientists and doctors. The current Board of Directors is comprised of nine of the richest billionaires in the world as well as members of the Chinese Communist Party. These ruthless individuals have continued to fund the Point Nemo operations in secret and maintain a firm grip on the goings-on.
The narrative of the novel uses scientific research and data and actual facts as well as historical information that combine to tell a suspenseful and thrilling tale intermingled with humor and unforgettable characters
